Interior Design

I’ve been obsessing over interior spaces since I constantly rearranged my room as a child. Since then, I’ve been studying the elements of design—space, light, color, texture, scale—and how we interact with it. For years I’ve helped friends arrange their spaces, declutter, choose paint colors and tile. I’ve recently decided to go pro with all I’ve learned.

I write a regular real estate column for The Week, a national newsmagazine, scanning the country’s real estate listings for gorgeous homes based on these elements. I’ve also recently built my own home (not with my hands, but with Keiter Builders of Florence, MA and my husband). It was a process that involved roughly 10,000,000 decisions large and small. I wrote about that experience here, in the Daily Hampshire Gazette.

My overall focus with design is how it makes us feel—in our body, mind, and spirit. Does every room in your home make you feel how you’d like to in it? Or are you looking for it to be more spacious, full of light, softer, more welcoming? I’m available to help support you and/or your family to create rooms that bring you whatever you’re after, whether it’s more joy, ease, and calm; energy and focus; or simply a general sense of ahhhh.

Here are some photos of my own home—more of others to come as I build my business.
